Plan to tiptoe around HR

Pros

Pay is decent and the opportunity to work for a specialized manufacturer in Maine is unique. The work is interesting and focuses on missile defense systems, so probably not the best place to work for a pacifist. Work/life balance ranges from good to okay depending on the role. A majority of the leadership team are good managers and a few are good leaders.

Cons

HR will share your personal information with other employees and they are insincere in their interactions and treatment of employees. Employees are targeted for termination based on personality and personal factors rather than performance- they even have boards listing positive and negative attributes of current employees. The company culture can be toxic and limits potential for career growth. The vacation time is a fraction of what other employers in the region offer.
