Pros

Fast Paced Environment with great team members, Great place to learn new technology move up fast. They spend their money on technology never felt that they don't have the hardware/software to do my job or resolve an issue.

Cons

Management does not communicate well. They spend more on technology than they do on their people thus there is high turnover when an employee can leave and make 20-30% more. Health benefits are below average. Understaffed.

Good teammates with whom to work in nice facilities with a good work-life balance.

Cons

Little opportunity for professional development AND it is located in Baton Rouge, LA which is a generic, soccer mom, anywhere USA, culture free hovel most of the year until football season.

Pros

Never any boredom. Great place for someone who is self-taught and likes to learn new things.

Cons

Poor work/life balance in the Clinical IS department. Very high turnover rate which in turn leaves very few knowledgeable people . Poor mentality of training employees. They fear if they train people they will leave to consult. However, that is far from the truth if the working environment were better. No room for advancement, especially if you are good at your job.
