The property was well cared for. Processes are carefully followed. Employees are encouraged to get continuing education to help them get better at their jobs.

Cons

FPI does not offer acceptable wages for the work required.

Meet a variety of people/vendors

Cons

High demands, little recognition for a job well done Often hire employees based on good looks, not skills or knowledge Regional manager will throw you under the bus to save herself instead of taking responsibility for her own mistakes Upper management will do nothing if you are being treated poorly at work Regional manager will often side with residents instead of hearing both sides and all details This site shows salaries as being very high for Community Director; a more realistic wage is $20/hr Employees report that their Regional manager is too negative and makes them feel like they will lose their job if they don't have their occupancy at 95% or higher year round.

Pros

Room for growth and advancement Can be a fun enviornment some days Constant Social Interaction Meet many from a variety of backgrounds and industries. Good medical benefits

Cons

Work Weekends and holidays - no work/life balance Low pay scale Inconsistent pay out on bonuses Constant complaints from residents wanting immediate action and minute issues Each office enviornment depends on management and the culture they create within the office Getting promoted is often based more on personal relationships, rather than work ethic, production and ability. Evaluations can be based more on personal relationships and how management feels about the epmloyee rather than the employee's actual performance A reactive company- they will let someone go without attempting to fill the position, often leading to working over 7 days + consecutively.
