Pros

The work environment is comfortable. The company is growing, and there are opportunities to learn new things all the time.

Cons

Sometimes the work I find boring, and recognition can take a while. Cubicle walls have been cut down in height. If you are motivated to work, and don't complain, your salary may not change much.

Pros

free lunch and sodas offers a lot of flexibility and the option to work from home which many people take advantage of

Cons

most positions can be type cast or pigeon holed as company and product specific skills are required the pay is lower than comparable firms in the industry but they make up for it by offering little perks like free food and flexibility to work from home

Pros

FactSet is not really a small company but it maintains a small company culture in which the goal is more important than appearance. You get the opportunity to participate in product development quite early, meaning that you can find your work reflected in the application within months of joining. At the same time colleagues and management are very willing to share knowledge, which makes it a straight forward task to do a good job.

Cons

Beginning salaries are generally low and the office environment can be somewhat noisy making it difficult to concentrate at times.
