Pros

The coworkers are nice, alot of life long employees. Great people. The learning curve is pretty simple but can get extensive.

Cons

Loser managers with big heads! They don't understand they have a job because warehouse workers take their abuse. The managers walk around more trying to look cool then they do addressing warehouse issues. The managers only get into management by taking years of abuse and throwing people under the bus. The managers need to learn to manage the warehouse and not themselves.

Pros

In an attempt to be fair and honest, which this company will not attempt, I thought long and hard about the pros of working here. There are really not many to speak of. Although, you will learn how to 'not do business.' As well, your mental toughness will increase along with your resiliency while learning to pick your sole up off the ground after the blood sucking, corporate 'glass palace,' money hoarding goblins have repeatedly stomped on it.

Cons

So many, so so so so many. The owner, Elliot, must have no idea what goes on within his own company. If he does, and continues to do nothing, than that makes him even worse. This job doesn't just suck. You cannot simply push past the daily grind. FMP makes all of its employees miserable. People do not just hate it here, they're honestly unhappy here. I have been at FMP for four years now and have not met a satisfied coworker. That is not an exaggeration. In fact, all co workers will openly discuss their level of satisfaction without hesitation. Their benefits are nothing to brag about. They all make a bunch of promises that they will not keep. Your manager will manage you via fear, since his manager, and his manager and his manager will also use this strategy. This company is numbers based and Elliot will preach family, but the man talks from both sides of his mouth. The numbers him and his goblins set will deflate you. And he will spend the rest of his time ignoring your concerns while counting the dollars you've stuffed into his pockets. Run from this company. I can go on for ever, seriously. This place will break your spirit, unless you comply and choose to do business in the manner in which they do... lie, cheat, steel and intimidate. If you take an offer from FMP, you'll look back at this post one day and say to yourself, "I should have listed to the post title FactoryMotorFarts."

Pros

It's a job. We all need a job. Used to be a good job. Pay cuts hurt everyone. I realize I was lucky to stay when hundreds were laid off with no warning, but the atmosphere is still not what it once was.

Cons

Managers backstab each other and gossip like schoolgirls. Employees aren't given training necessary to compete in their markets. Lots of red tape prevents us from getting the job done. Accounting department is run by gestapo.
