Lots of billable worker, so meeting goals are not a problem Some flexibility in work schedule. Decent benefits.

Cons

Corporate environment with too much emphasis on bottom line, not employees. No personal growth. Repetitive work with little ability to move within the firm to other areas.

This company has good health benefits and a generous PTO policy.

Cons

I work for one of the operations teams that supports the attorneys. A lot (and I mean A LOT) of focus is on attorney compensation, but there has been no focus on compensation for the operations staff. If you receive a top ranking on your annual review, the best merit increase that you’re eligible for is 2.5%. There’s been a lot of staff turnover and the firm is having trouble filling open positions, which means that they’re not paying competitive wages.
