FairWarning - My perspective

Pros

The CEO goes above and beyond to push the limits of the company, the team, and what we are capable of. Working here, you are surrounded by an incredible management team with the leadership needed to succeed. The culture is what I feel sets us apart from other companies. We have a LOT of FUN! Whether it's our parties throughout the year, Presidents Club (WOW!), or the balloon ride that the company went on recently, we are always having fun.

Cons

There are no cons, but if you insist., If you're not ready to push your limits, this might not be the place for you. If you're happy when things just stay the same and you never want to change, this isn't the place. If you're not into having fun at work and enjoying the people you work with, not the right place.

Pros

The team here makes it worthwhile. I love the people I work with. They are some of the smartest, hardest working people I know. I have learned a lot.

Cons

Still feeling out the interim CEO. A lot feels in limbo. There have been a lot of changes recently. Too much is catered to a younger crowd. I wish it were more inclusive. Things like Happy Hour, Field Day, and other activities are great, but after working 40+ hours a week, I would love an activity that helps balance family a bit more.

Pros

Many recent changes have been made to create a very positive culture compared to prior years. In the past, there was a lot of micro managing and lack of progressive policies; However, with recent changes in leadership - Including an established HR Dept, we now have more transparency surrounding business goals, modern policies such as unlimited PTO, flex schedules, work from home days, and for the first time ever a formal annual review process to assess your skills and get feedback from your manager on a regular basis as well as an Employee Recognition Program. Technology is also finally being updated and old laptops and equipment are being phased out. It's a breath of fresh air to finally feel trusted at work and not be questioned about everything. For the first time, I feel like leadership really does value employee feedback and wants to know what can be done to improve processes, policies, and office culture. You can feel the atmosphere is changing, and definitely in a positive way! Monthly massage therapists onsite, a designated break room area with a ping-pong table, corntoss, & giant Jenga, team outing events bi-annually for every dept., and unlimited coffee are just a few of the perks of working at FairWarning. Definitely some of the smartest employees I've ever worked with as well which is awesome because you're always learning and growing!

Cons

Uncertainty in leadership. Having an interim CEO means there may be more changes to come, but I'm confident they will all be for the better! Also, many key managers are mostly remote and rarely in the office which sometimes feels like a lack of present leaders who are engaged and invested. Some things still feel in limbo since the former Founder & CEO exited, but I believe by 2020 all the kinks will be ironed out.
