Pros

Offered remote work and was very flexible with working hours (need to take a walk or go to an appointment? No biggie) If you're a Christian, this is a great place for you. Likeminded community with free bible resource perks.

Cons

Pay is severely lacking No bonuses Raises are extremely minimal, making growth at the company very difficult Advice to middle/upper management never acknowledged or improved upon Hostile to more progressive thinking (LGBT community, secular community), while Bellingham is a very progressive city. Many employees leaving the company with hiring not being the main focus, making the current employees take the brunt of the workload. Employees left the company and 6 months later they still hadn't backfilled.

Pros

Bellingham is a beautiful city. Some of the people that work at Faithlife are kind and competent. If you like Bible software, you can get it for free while working there. Remote working seems like it's an option that's here to stay for the company. If you're on campus, you can access things like an outdoor center.

Cons

Lack of humanity. Micromanagement. No upward mobility (but they'll pretend there is and dangle it over your head). Poor pay, raises, and bonuses (what bonuses?). Unfair hierarchy (development sales are the golden children). Covertly hostile to the LGBTQIA+ community. Extreme lack of diversity. Sexist/patriarchal (while there are women in leadership, actions speak louder than words). HR is rude and unsupportive.
