Pros

Capable coworkers with a genuine interest in growing each other Flexible PTO Good individual team culture

Cons

Faithlife used to be vibrant and creative environment, with transparent and strong leadership, a passion for the product (and not just its performance), and a strong sense of care for our customers. It is now a shell of its former self, and soon the product will reflect that. Many culture drivers left with the sunset of a product line resulting from the complete turnover in senior leadership and sale to a private equity firm. They saw what was coming. Much of the talent that remains is waiting for a job market recovery, at which point the company will lose many more employees as a result of the change in culture, slashing of in-person benefits, increased workload due to lack of employee backfill, lack of pay, and a general feeling of instability. The company must change and prioritize employee engagement and satisfaction, beyond sending surveys that are ignored or written off to external factors (and no, Logos for spouses is not sufficient). Address the elephant in the room: the vast majority of your employees are no longer happy with their jobs. Take accountability for the situation and be transparent in addressing it. Things WILL get worse and the product WILL suffer if course is not corrected. Be proactive in addressing the situation or cause irreparable harm to the company.

The move from a smaller company to a larger one is not without its challenges. There have been growth pains in terms of focus, career development, and structure.
