My brother joined FFL a few years before I did. He was changing his life in such a major way but I had it good at my job. I lost my job and I decided heck my brother is happy and doing so well. I joined him at FFL and we are doing GREAT. I have my kids in private school and we want for nothing.

Cons

I work hard but I am ok with it.

I decided that I needed a change after my divorce five years ago. I had kids to support, and I wanted to be able to move on with my life and provide for my family. I joined FFL, and it did not go well at first. I was terrible. Then I started listening, and I studied the trade. Eventually, I got better and better. The support I received at FFL was over and beyond what I got at other jobs.

Cons

This is not a job. It is like owning a business. No vacation days or 401k. It's not a con per se but it is something to be prepared for!

Pros

I like sitting down with families just like mine and making sure they are protected in case something unfortunate happens. I am so glad I chose to join FFL and not head back to a corporate job. I love the flexibility and the ability to work when I can work.

Cons

This is not easy but worth learning about.
