Business Outlook
Pros
-Pay is good for the area. -Helping the underserved. -Plenty of overtime opportunities. -Opportunities for student loan repayment. -Opportunities to see a wide range of patient's and perform in office procedures.
Cons
-All visits are scheduled at 15 minutes regardless of reason for visit. -Too many patients scheduled in a shift (36 patients in a 9 hour shift once you hit 2 years experience). -Scheduling guidelines are not followed. -Problems keeping MAs b/c company does not treat MAs as well as it should. This effects the ability for providers to do job efficiently. -High provider turnover. -The air quality and amount of homelessness in the area are atrocious.
