Pros

Innovative with a growth mindset. Making big moves in the world of streaming, data and more. Overall great place to work, good people and low drama. Flexible work environment with most of the company being remote.

Cons

Has lost some of its culture recently with a large portion of leadership being non-ag background. Has come a long way operationally, but still struggling with process.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for recognizing the innovation and momentum happening across Farm Journal. We’re glad to hear you continue to value the people, flexibility, and collaborative environment that mean so much to us. We also appreciate the candid perspective on culture and process. As our business evolves, we’ve intentionally added new skills and experiences to help us grow in areas like data and streaming, while remaining deeply committed to our agricultural roots and the audiences we serve. With change comes adjustment, and we know it’s important to continue strengthening processes while staying grounded in the culture that has always defined Farm Journal. We’re committed to building on what makes this a great place to work while continuing to evolve for the future. Feedback like this helps us keep moving in the right direction.

Pros

Remote work option is good for work life balance

Cons

Executive Leadership lacks thought provoking capabilities. Thrives on a developing culture to support future Stockholm Syndrome. Decent enough, just dont have your own opinions.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re glad to hear that the remote work option is supporting your work-life balance, as that’s something we continue to prioritize. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with our leadership and culture has felt limiting. We aim to build an environment where thoughtful perspectives are encouraged and respectful debate is part of our growth. While we recognize that culture and leadership styles can be experienced differently, especially in newer or evolving competencies (such as Client Success), we take feedback seriously and are committed to ongoing improvement. If you’re open to sharing more specifics, we encourage you to reach out directly to HR or use our internal feedback channels. Your voice matters, and we want to understand how we can support a more constructive and inclusive environment for all.
