      Pros

      I worked there one week. Everyone is stressed out, and then I was let go because I couldn't complete tasks in an industry which I flat out Saif I had no experience in!

      Cons

      Owner has not interest or patience to train anyone. Toooooooo old school, "early is on time, and on time is late." Condescending, and cares way too much about simple mistakes that are easily fixed. He's a bad teacher that gets annoyed when you can't read his mind. He literally told me that 80% of the people he hires don't work out, yet doesn't seem to recognize that he might be the problem. This job is only for people that have low self esteem and think they can't do better.

      Pros

      The job itself is not bad since I love Graphic Design.

      Cons

      The FastSigns I worked at was so understaffed,that they expected for the Graphic Designer to also be part of Sales (interrupted every 10 min. by calls and customers coming in), that it slows down your workflow (and get blamed for it). We only had 1 Sales Rep, 1 Graphic Designer (myself) and 1 Production person. The designer and production had to work for 2 FastSigns which the owner had in another city. - No paid overtime, although was expected to work it. - Low salary - Bad attitude from owner, only really cared about how much $ came in, didn't care about the employees at all. - Owner constantly hired and fired people without properly training them. ( You are expected to already know everything)

      Worst boss I ever had

      Pros

      Everyday is different, you get to make really unique signs and help your community businesses gain more attention.

      Cons

      No respect, hostile work environment, unhappy people, poor communication, boss throws temper tantrums. Threats of being fired were a common occurrence, threats of pay being deducted for mistakes from miscommunication in orders. This shop is run by fear and talented employees get treated like idiots on a daily basis.
