Pros

Very easy to get hired at entry level, tons of learning materials and corporate support to help get you trained, and the brand recognition means that the franchise you work at will likely do okay through hard times.

Cons

Well-below industry average pay. Franchises can be amazing or terrible depending on the owner. Very strict overtime rules. Most of the time, production runs on a skeleton crew leading to a ton of stress and last-minute rushing of jobs. Pretty standard stuff for the print industry.
