Pros

-The company fosters a culture of learning and self improvement -Constantly designing new projects (keeps things interesting) -I was given marketing opportunities for our Facebook platform (designed digital ads) -You get to learn the printing process really well which is valuable for a graphic designer

Cons

-There were hardly any benefits at my location (no health care, 3 sick days, my first year and no PTO) -It can be difficult if you don’t have a good team! -Work can either be very fast paced (everyone wants signs at the same time and ASAP) or super slow (during some periods of the year there might be barely anything to do) -For a graphic designer, some designing might not be very creative -Dealing with clients can be difficult (have to be willing to do what the customer wants on the design, not always huge room for creativity)
