- Nepotism: I have never seen nepotism like I did at this company. Upper management hiring their friends and they hire their friends to fill other positions. - Bullying: As if the micromanaging of absolutely incompetent managers wasn’t enough, the only tool they use to (i use this term very loosely) “motivate” the employees is intimidation, closeted threats and basically bullying. - This company embodies all the worst cliches of an evil American corporation. Not a smidge of respect for their employees, no compassion. They don’t see you as human beings so don’t expect humanity. Unless you’re a friend, then you’ll get handed leads and praise even if you’re not doing anything worthy, while the actually talented few people get overworked and overlooked. - Also since the reviews on here are showing their true face they’re asking employees to write 5 star reviews, which is not surprising because this kind of behavior is second nature.

Minor politics like any company. No 401K matching.

Management is not great whatsoever and NO career growth

Lots of outbounding required and complicated product to learn. You have to be here for a year to really start seeing results.

The salaries are fairly low (about 15-20% lower) compared to similar companies. Employees of the older demographics are overworked and undervalued; often confided in for newer employees who end up getting promoted intead, so there seems to be some disconnect between upper management and veterans that drive much of the company knowledge. FastSpring has historically offered some sort of profit share or equity options for employees, but under the new ownership of AKKR, these options were removed, essentially giving significant pay cuts and lacking par compared to competitors.
