Pros

Co-workers, my direct boss, benefits, 401k,

Cons

To little payroll to staff the store. MD is only concerned with looking good to her boss. Moves up deadlines for no other reason but to be able to say her region was done first. Can be terminated for mystery shops that you didn't personally get or are not even in the store for.

Pros

Pay wasn’t terrible, at first. Met some nice people, and I’ve had good managers this far.

Cons

Huge, huge, HUGE disconnect between corporate and district managers and the reality in each store. It’s all about the bottom line - how can FXO retain as much profit as possible and entice more investors? Cut team member hours, prohibit overtime, and change its definition of full-time to 30 hours a week which you’ll accrue over the course of 5 days. There seems an unending supply of technologically illiterate customers whom expect you to not only help them make their unrealistic deadlines, but expect you to give them a crash course in how to properly navigate software on their device. I also can’t tell you how many times I get yelled at because FedEx doesn’t accept postage stamps as legal tender. The customers I can deal with, but what’s especially frustrating are all the changes they’re making within the company. They’re selling it to team members as “exciting” and “with you guys in mind” but that’s far from the truth. There’s little to no room for growth within this company.

Pros

Pay starts around 16 - 18 per hour. Gym and cafeteria on site, But if you work an "off shift" you will never get to use those services.

Cons

New hire training is a joke. They basically through you to the wolves and then tell you that " I wasn't trained on that procedure " as a response is not valid. All Management is pretty incompetent, they do not follow up with their employees unless it is about a negative issues ( which they will turn anything into a negative issue) The entire time I have worked for this company I have never received a 1:1, but when pay raise time comes along, they have a laundry list of issues. I have seen some amazing employees give 100% everyday sick or not and still get treated horrible. I have also seen some of the worse employees get special treatment i.e. better/ easier shifts free lunches delivered to their desk. The equality in this department is noon existent. Turn over is very high, I saw 10 employees come and go in 3 months recently. 2 of those new hires didn't;t last 30 days and they were very good at their job. Initially I was thrilled about started a future with this company and now I am again looking a for other employment.
