Pros

If you like working in a male-dominated workplace with old guys and old ideas, this is the place for you! They have branches in all major US Cities and beyond and make ttransferring to another location easy.

Cons

Wishy- washy and ever-changing policies and Management, perpetual poor decisions and low productivity by Management. Wanting to appear as though they are equitable, equal opportunity employer, but only hiring people of color for warehouse positions, and women for accounting or secretarial roles. Major financial investment in mandatory, almost daily employee testing and video watching on every topic except for Wholesale plumbing to cover themselves from lawsuits, resulting in very inefficient use of time. . Hiring employees that must work overtime to earn a certain hourly wage, then taking away overtime across the board, making employees choose to either leave or stay on at 60% of their former earnings. Eliminating their entire HR department across the country, Terrible insurance benefits that cost the employee 25% of their wages. Higher wholesale prices than most retailers, gouging long time customers, only concerned with profits and the bottom line. Never accept an hourly position with this Company. You will be sorry.

Pros

Benefits as far a health coverage is pretty great. But charged based on what you earn. So I’m paying double wet warehouse guy is just because I earn more. Not exactly fair.our coverage is the same. Nice bonus incentives if you’re in the right Work group. Of course that’s a secret and you can’t tell everybody because not everybody’s eligible. So that’s kind of crap.

Cons

Where do I begin. The managers in our group didn’t do anything. It seem like all day. We would all discuss privately. What are they doing? Like what is their job because we’re doing everything. Must’ve been a lot a lot of meetings. We know how important those are. Favoritism is rampant. Lion is ramp it. Which I don’t know if I’d ever seen it as much until I got to Ferguson. Or maybe it was just my boss. Couldn’t be trusted as far as you can throw her. They didn’t pay attention to workflow in the department, so some people would leave their crap from months and months and months. And the rest of us would be hustling wondering why aren’t they looking at Susie?? Who’s managing this place?

Pros

Great healthcare benefits and Job security

Cons

They do not value their good employees, they do not promote within, they hire external employees with no experience for managerial roles and over look hard working individuals with proven success track records. The company's supposed commitment to promoting from within turned out to be nothing more than empty rhetoric, as the majority of management positions were consistently filled by external candidates. This created a demoralizing atmosphere among the existing employees, leading to a lack of motivation and a sense of disenchantment within the workforce. Furthermore, the lack of recognition for dedication and hard work was disheartening, making it clear that the company's purported emphasis on employee development and internal advancement was simply a façade. This disregard for internal talent and disregard for the professional growth of existing employees ultimately led to a high turnover rate and a loss of valuable team members.
