Pros

There are no pros to being In finance

Cons

I would never recommend anyone to work here. I trained in their management training program for 14 months moved to Texas for them and they screwed me totally. I went in the hole and after completing the program I wasnt even given a pay raise and got looked over for promotion that I should have automatically received from completing the training program. I was considering an EEOC complaint. Also i was treated differently as the only black woman in the office. Sales refused to assist in training and my trainer was lack luster. There is alot of back door dealings going on with developers and good ol boy networks especially in the Euless office.

Unrealistic expectations and poor work life balance

Pros

most corporate roles are remote forever fine 401K they have healthcare benefits people tend to stay here for their whole career

Cons

Everyone is so burnt out and people often work on their days off. Employees are treated more like a skill set or a commodity than a human being. This is a very siloed organization with extremely poor communication. There are zero boundaries in the IT department and an expectation that you must always be available. There is an expectation to take on multiple roles concurrently without proper compensation.

Pros

Helpful associates and a sense of family, not sure if it is just because we were all in the same boat.

Cons

Unfortunately, if you are not willing to "bow down" to certain members of the middle-management team or you're not in the "clique" it will be difficult to move up in the company. New leadership is busy focusing on the new direction of the company so the middle/senior management will continue to run the IT departments how they see fit (or unfit).
