There are 4 weekends a year that you can not take off at all no matter what. Another employee had a death in the family and was told he could not go to the funeral because it fell on one of those weekends. Taking Time off is a huge pain. You better hope you are the only one who wants that time off otherwise you are out of luck or in for a fight to get the date. You will most likely be in a constant state of understaffed.

They want you drink the cool aid and seem to be headed towards call centers and retail service. High turn over in the warehouses and fundamental flaws completely ignored in pursuit of continuous business changes. We are our own worst enemy and everyone just goes along with what ever program is being served. Character and independence have been eliminate. Integrity has given way to frustration. No one likes the new Ferguson, employees and customers alike. Yet area mangers are so in love with falling in line and spewing corporate speak they will auto repeat everything is the best like a happy robot.
