Pros

Relaxed dress code and nice facilities

Cons

They “flexible” work hours are because clients have to meet early in the morning or late at night. The training you get sounds great in theory but it isn’t performed by anyone who had ever worked in the field. The billing practices are super confusing. They tell you it “just takes time” but I have worked for other mental health agencies in similar roles and it has never been that complicated. I feel that at times their billing practices were sketchy and questionable. Clients are often made fun of during meetings in a very unprofessional way. The turnover is very high and clients will most likely be frustrated with you before you even establish a relationship with them. Quotas are difficult/impossible to reach due to clients canceling and you having to “scramble” to fill in open appointment spots. I often felt I was proving services to clients who didn’t need the service just to fill in open spots. Pay is HORRIBLE.

Pros

Jon was pretty great and fun.

Cons

The mental health professionals/ mid level management, under Jon are mostly white woman who spend their meetings talking trash about all their employees and the clients and client’s families, almost like it’s a means to stay in management so other employees can’t promote and to make themselves feel superior. The faribault culture was highly toxic. Also the pay is significantly lower than all competitors and the benefits are poor.

Pros

During the interview self care is stressed. I was happy when after I was offered the job. It's nice to make your own hours.

Cons

The quote is very high. It might not seem unreasonable at first, but they dont take into account time spent drive or paperwork. Be prepared to work 12 hour days and be paid for 6 hours. Also, during the first 4 weeks your expected to drive between 150 to 100 miles to the main office. Your not paid for the miles. It's hard to come up with and eat $300 dollors worth of gas before your even paid. Make sure you have plenty of room on your credit cards to pay to start working. Also, everything you do is under watch. If you even look at management the wrong way, you might lose your job. Every month we have a meeting to "gossip about clients"
