Pros

-The employees as well as the employers of Fiddleheads are genuinely nice people. I have had the pleasure of working with baristas as well as management & operational employees. - The Tips at Fiddleheads are incredible. Expect to be well compensated on top of the already decent hourly wage. - Full Time employees(30 hours+) receive health insurance benefits. - Employee discounts are pretty great. -The food is pretty tasty. -Customers are very friendly -Shifts are 6 - 8 hours. And Full-time employees can expect to find plenty of work above 30+

Cons

- Scheduling is always done days in advance for the following week. It is incredibly hard to plan anything whilst waiting last minute for a schedule. Another issue is that employees are required to request off 3 weeks in advance yet will not see the request was accepted until the late schedule is provided. - Understaffing is a large issue at Fiddleheads. To the point where the owner, the marketing manager and vice president have had to work several full time hours in the cafe and then return to the office afterwards. - The cafes are also understaffed. At Fiddleheads working was more survival less than work. Fiddleheads tries to keep only one person in the store for as long as possible. Having five people come in at once is incredibly time consuming and can make a close go longer than 30min. Expect to stay later than scheduled or avoid cleaning the store. Stress starts at the beginning of the shift & remains until you clock out. - Lack of Communication. Fiddleheads seems to have trouble in providing ample amounts of information to those working outside of the 'office'. News travels very slowly. -Spread thin. Fiddleheads seems to be dead-set on expanding but continues to start more holes than finishing digging. Don't be surprised if a project gets prolonged longer and a newer one takes its place. - My position provided very little responsibility above the normal barista. In fact people from the office would perform the tasks I was hired to do.

Pros

Great coffee, management, and customers who made it a great place to work. Bakery and lunch was also delicious and handmade!

Cons

Can be very busy and need to utilize time management skills when you get a rush of customers. Have to work some weekends.

Pros

Great atmosphere and good customers. I like how the company is striving to be better and get more customers everyday.

Cons

Some bad management the communication between manager and workers was terrible. Every location was great except Mequon. The training could have been a little better.
