Pros

Cons
Don’t let the recent positive reviews fool you, you can tell that they are just trying to save face by having people post positive reviews at the same time to boost their rating on here. Look at the reviews that have been upvoted! I wish I had seen these reviews before applying there, it would’ve saved me so much stress. THE TURN OVER RATE AT THIS STORE IS APPALLING, and I saw it while working there too. I was so disappointed with the unprofessional treatment I received from management. After working a FULL shift as I was closing up with another barista a corporate worker had come into the store and fired me with no reason at all. He did this in front of my coworker and with other people in the store. It was super embarrassing and humiliating, especially after I just worked a whole shift for you all! I wasn’t even finished with my closing tasks and the guy made me leave and he left my coworker who was a minor too ALL ALONE in the store left to close up (I know this because he exited the store with me). I had been ghost shifted for two weeks straight, at first I wasn’t put on the schedule for the week and had to ask corporate why that is, only to be put on the schedule again. I worked for two weeks with them knowing they were going to fire me…unbelievable. They gave me no explanation to why I was being terminated, they didn’t even let me get a chance to defend myself or make up for it, I was told it was too late. I worked a ton of days of the week, scheduled constantly, which begs the question, why schedule me so often if there was a problem? Why didn’t anyone come and talk to me about any issues they saw with me so I could work on them? Nope, they made it seem like everything with me was hunky dory only for them to pull the rug out from under me and terminate me. This is not a company that wants to see their employees improve, if they don’t like you, you have no shot of success. Major red flag was how I was working there for months without my second bar training, which one of my shift leads had to beg corporate on my behalf because I wasn’t being listened to when I was attempting to get it scheduled. HUGE RED FLAG, if this happens to you, head for the hills, because they aren’t gonna keep you around much longer. There are other great coffee shops to work at, save yourself the stress of poor job security. I had never been treated so unprofessionally by upper management in my whole life. I got terminated, fine, you could’ve at least given me a proper termination, not one in the middle of the store AS IM WORKING with others around, then leave my minor coworker to close up all by herself at night. Big slap in the face, especially after I had just worked every day that week for you. That just shows how employees are treated. They’re gonna want to comment on this and say the are willing to answer any questions like they do with every post on here, it’s not like it’s gonna make any difference as you can see by the trends in these reviews that have been ongoing for YEARS. What’s done is done with me, I would love to help save some prospective employees some trouble.
