Pros

Pay does arrive on time.

Cons

Lied to by recruiters, hiring managers, and managers along the way. No way to get ahead in this company for this company. Dead end job. Stuck on phones. The only perk of this is I can take care of my young daughter on days when I need to. Absolutely avoid this role.

Pros

On-site has several benefits. Gym, Cafeteria, multiple conference rooms. Health benefits are great, a lot of opportunities for movement. The overall company is amazing.

Cons

The con has to be the 401k department. Compared to other departments like Personal Investing, it isn't organized. Training can improve. The expectations of the associates are unrealistic due to unreliable resources, inconsistent help, taking over 60 calls daily, and more. Only a 30 minute lunch is insane, plus no actual time to network (as they suggest). We're treated like robots.

Pros

good 401k policy. a lot of flexibility between work and personal life. great co workers ( except for the people at the branch.) great support structures. Fidelity business model is very admiring and honorable.

Cons

As the title said, a lot of High Net Worth associates quit because of idiotic financial consultants at the branch. Fidelity is setting itself up for failure on this front because most financial consultants here are money hungry and like to scream yell and be little us. I rather dealt with margins, spread options and complex trade rather than getting a call from financial consultants. I even had one mocked me over the recorded line and my TL will not do a thing about it. We all know that financial consultants would set up meetings, spend 59 minutes of the meetings talking up clients and provide empty promises and use the last minute to call us and berate us for not working fast enough. They also are lazy and will not review accounts or financial plans ahead of time. What they do is just wait until the last few minutes and rush us high net worth associate.
