Pros

Can't really think of any

Cons

Possibly the worst HR team I've ever encountered. They make it blatantly clear they care nothing for employees and only want to serve the higher ups. HR passes you to an 800 number to call for any questions because god forbid they lower themselves to speak to employees and half the time, the 800 folks are wrong. The company also claims to have the best quarters ever but it's because, behind the scenes, they're quietly laying off hundreds, if not thousands, of employees to hit those numbers and keep those 2 private jets gassed up and ready to transport higher ups to wherever they want to go. When you lay off so many, guess who picks up the work of those? Already overworked and underpaid employees. They also outsource their IT Department overseas. The focus of this company is the almighty dollar. It's sad that so many people spend their careers here and have no idea how much better it is at other companies.

Pros

- Good financial/professional experience - Personal finance knowledge - There is upward mobility*** - Great feeling of helping others

Cons

- There is upward mobility but only when someone quits or a new branch opens up which is, more often than not, delayed for months even years. - Work-life balance is not great - Your work experience is entirely dependent on who your manager is. If you have a manager that is interested in your success as opposed to just the branch's success, it is great. - They will tell you to focus on pushing one product each month and if you don't hit a certain metric, your branch is considered "unsuccessful" even if you sell in other areas.
