Pros

Benefits are great: 401k match, 40 hour work weeks typically, stock purchase option, HSA, etc. My team has been great, and there is a lot of opportunity to learn more if you look for the right team (not sure on true difficulty on moving teams).

Cons

Raises are slow and can be under inflation rate (which can drive talent away), insistence on eventually going back to the office (when tech workers can work fine from home). Lots of tech debt that needs to be getting rid of for newer technologies.

Pros

I learn a lot from some of my peers.

Cons

It is a hostile work environment. Men get promoted more than women. Especially, in IT.
