Pros

The people and the different types of products you could work on.

Cons

Chaotic work-life-no balance and mixed directions from C-Suite’s vision and direction makes it seem like we are designing in the dark. No budget to hire more designers to help distribute workload among each other and everyone is burnt out, genuinely. We’re also not offering competitive salaries, so for new people applying, please do your research as we offer below market.

Pros

- Well stocked kitchen. - Nice office. - Great for people that enjoy a top-down culture.

Cons

- Big brother mentality - transparency manifests as surveillance. Don’t you think it’s suspicious that the Glassdoor score is so high? - They don’t actually care about the people, they just use, abuse, then dispose. I know of several people getting physically ill from working here, and some were never able to make it back to work. They don’t treat employees like humans. - Toxic culture - just read the Away article on the Verge, a lot of the similar things are happening here, and the executive team just turns a blind eye on it. - Unlimited PTO = No PTO here. If you take PTO, it’ll be compensated through your bonus or through your chance of getting good projects. Also, they sell you the job by telling you the bonus is 25%, but the reality is closer to 10%.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are disappointed to read you haven't had a better experience. We take every review (good or bad) seriously and try to scale what is positive and address issues immediately. We use our employee surveys, which indicate a high degree of satisfaction and would recommend Figure as a great place to work, as a benchmark of how we're operating. If an employee feels we aren't holding ourselves to that high standard, we encourage them to talk with their Managers or People Operations to address concerns. Your feedback suggests we can do a better job communicating how our flexible PTO and quarterly bonus work, which we will prioritize during an upcoming All Hands meeting. We appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Pros

Good team of CSA's they have assembled.

Cons

- Poor communication from the top to the bottom. Supervisors do not find anything out until a few moments before they themselves have to share information. - Employees have very little say in the changes that happen at work - Do not care to train or coach you on errors made, much more likely to let you go before helping you. - They have a tendency to make changes that negatively impact employees on the CSA level and do not care to offer solutions to concerns that are brought up by employees until several months down the road if at all. These issues include but are not limited to: increased compensation, diversity concerns, and hybrid policies. - They brand themselves as inclusive and diverse but there is a large discrepancy in their management hires. over 75% of acting management are white while POC CSA's make up over 50% of the workforce in lending
