      Toxic environment

      Pros

      cool product, that's really it.

      Cons

      the product is good and the workload is fine, but the 5th floor feels straight up disgusting. You constantly see BDRs going upstairs begging AEs for favors to get their opps pushed through. If that doesn’t work, they ask certain managers to leverage their personal relationships to get numbers altered. It’s very obvious that leverage is in play. If you don’t play that game, you’re screwed. All the BDRs see it and talk about it. The whole environment feels gross and unfair.

      Great relationships but pressure leads to burnout

      Pros

      The relationships I built at Filevine are ones that I’ll have for years to come. Phenomenal people work here. Whitney on the BDR management side is the best manager I’ve ever had. She is kind, loving, understanding and hardworking. She can take someone like me with very little sales experience and get almost anyone to quota. The org would be lost without her. Brandon is a phenomenal director. He is understanding and motivating and always in the trenches with the team. He leads by example and trains everyone to be better every day. Josh is a hardworking VP. He is hard on the team only because of the potential he sees. He is funny and motivating to work with.

      Cons

      Sales is always punished based on AE performance and marketing. There’s always some reason we aren’t “doing enough”. This presents a culture of burnout and PIP firings. If you don’t work yourself to death or get promoted fast enough to go to events you are going to be on the chopping block before you know it.
