Pros

co workers are nice! that's about it...

Cons

Commissions have been wrong every single month. Who knows how many thousands they have shorted me while I've been here. No one is hitting quota, and nothing is being done about it. The record breaking AM team was dissolved, seemingly on a whim, and now everyone is an AE with a tiny territory and an even smaller book. There is zero transparency on anything, or why certain changes are being made. They just try to gaslight you into thinking this is the best thing that could happen. CEO openly says he doesn't really care about employees, and it shows in the way he interacts (or doesnt even acknowledge more like) us, other than to crack the whip. There is no clear expectations of what we are supposed to do; it's like we are AEs, CSMs, AMs and more all in one. They systems are also non-existant. To get anything done or find any answer you have to ask multiple people who just say 'go ask someone else'. Also none of the tech/sales benefits exist here. No swag, no fun things, in office 8-5 every day with very little exception. You have to sneak out even if it's for approved PTO. I've been in sales for 6 years and this is by far the worst place I've ever worked. Even though it's a tough job market out there...DO NOT WORK AT FILEVINE

Pros

If you live in SLC, it’s a convenient location, good food places for lunch, nice co-workers and nice office space.

Cons

Filevine’s new comp plan despite record profits and numbers in 2023 is laughable, quota is raised 50-75%, realistic OTE is reduced by 30-40%. Being asked to do more than ever and ever moving goalposts on what’s required. Commissions are paid out incorrectly with no accountability or oversight. If you like high stress for marginal pay, this is a great job for you. People are not happy and sales morale is an all time low, several people are on their way out the door. Management treat’s and view AE’s like royalty and all other sales departments as marginal, non-skilled and untalented employees.

Pros

No pros - I was feed lies - I am already looking for new opportunities, this place is going downhill quickly.

Cons

{PROCEED WITH CAUTION} Read the reviews on glassdoor and take them seriously, they are TRUE. I am a current employee and I can't take it anymore. There is no Head of Marketing - there hasn't been anyone in that spot for a while - there is a reason. Marketing is in shambles. Everyone is looking to jump ship. Awful culture. There is no acting CFO anymore - even though every "all hands" meeting said we were doing amazing. This is alarming. There is no Head of People - so basically it's a free for all. No rules, no culture, no best practices. This company is a literal joke. My words of wisdom: Look at joining Clio or Litify or some company more established - they have their stuff together. They have all of the people in the leadership spots that Filevine does not have and does not care to hire for (just look at their careers page - not one role I mentioned is up there that they are actively hiring for). I hope to jump over there soon to avoid the sinking ship that is Filevine.
