Going downhill

Pros

The people I work with are great. No, this does not include the executive team. Pay is decent but keeps going down with additional responsibilities adding up.

Cons

What used to make filevine great is quickly falling apart. The morale on the sales team is so low because they are absolutely running us into the ground. We have been sprinting since the beginning of the year and nothing we do is good enough. We had a record month and quarter and we got a “pat yourselves on the back” speech. Oh, and then the next day get ready go talk about what you’re closing for this month. No thought at all about the individuals and how we are feeling. The executive team is so blind to it and just thinks everyone is complaining for no reason.

Please avoid working here

Pros

Location, close to SLC and decent office.

Cons

Filevine is an absolute horrible place to work. Do not work here. Don’t do it. There are no pros about working here. Multiple people had to cancel their vacations or come home early because they were threatened to be fired. They do not allow more than 4 days of PTO at a time. The SMB Account Executive manager has no idea what he is doing. He is clueless. He has no sales skill. He operates like a car salesman. Nobody is hitting quota either. You’re lucky if you hit 50%. Whatever OTE they tell you cut it in half, that’s more realistic. I also experienced racism and sexism from management in the office. I have been at a few tech companies in the Utah and Filevine by far is the worst place I’ve ever been.

Pros

- Remote - supposedly unlimited PTO - swag (I guess)

Cons

- terrible leadership - supposedly unlimited PTO - never given any sort of review on where you stand compared to your peers or with the company - no 401k - no bonus - no opportunity for advancement - terrible process to get customers implemented into the software - cliques at all levels - constant hero worship of the supposed leaders - favoritism (even when you are better at your job than most your peers) - constantly having to make up for what the over promising salesmen do as well as the Implementation coordinator - you will be the first one thrown under the bus when something goes wrong - you will be given a lot of promises and none will ever happen - working weekends for Go LIVES - you will be giving up any personal plans to make work deadlines when the IC or Account Rep makes big promises - you could be banging through projects left and right and they will still lay you off 2 weeks before CHRISTMAS - YOU ARE DEALING WITH LAWYERS and the entitled people they attract to work in the Offices
