Pros

There is a diverse group of people that make working at Filevine bearable.

Cons

Where do I even start? Culture. If you’re considering looking into Filevine, just know that the culture is very Toxic. What I mean by that is they treat you like a number and no matter how well you do, they could care less about you or making sure you are happy. Top performers have left the company all due to being pushed out from the AM leaders. Going into the responsibilities of the role, you are expect to do Account management for 50% of your job, which entails Support, post-sale support, renewals, billing and collection outreach, and plenty of other things. The second part of the role is you are expected to farm your own book of new business into the CRM. They give you no leads, no resources to effectively do your job. Bc of these massive responsibilities, you’re expect to attain an outrageous quota which has been un-attainable for many reps that have been there for 3+ years. The money is not there is what I’m getting at. 75% of people that have been at Filevine for 3+ years all came into Filevine with it being their first sales role, so just know there are NOT many experienced reps, those that have succeeded is strictly due to luck. (There is no repeatable process for success) -You are expected to be in the office 8-5 Monday through Friday with no flexibility of WFH if you have an emergency. They would prefer you use your PTO then work from home. - The company is strict about when Lunches are taken. -The CEO randomly reviews calls from reps and will pull them aside to grill them. - The leaders will harass your managers if you are ever out sick on PTO to figure out where you are. - The director is ALWAYS checking your numbers to see how he will treat you that month. - The company does NOT accept feedback. (An anonymous culture survey was done, which lots of reps provided feedback and nothing was ever done) - OTE is 30-40% less than what you see online. - Lastly, the CEO thinks he is absolutely better than his employees and makes sure you know it! Pros

Solid coworkers. Pretty good sales leadership.

Cons

It's sad how far this company has fallen from "grace", if you will. Filevine is a poor place to work. Employees are exploited at every turn, particularly in my department. With the removal of CSM's, my job is now an inside sales rep AND a CSM and I don't have the bandwidth for both. And since my job is only measured by how much money I bring into to this organization, I have no incentive to support my customers. And yet, if I don't support my customers, I cannot adequately sell to them because they hate Filevine (due to the lack of support). You've exploited the account management team for far too long, underpaying us all along the way. It's now going to come back to bite them as their beloved account management team will be leaving for other jobs after 2 consecutive record breaking years. I sincerely hope that these departures of some of your best salespeople helps you realize the importance of CSM's and support motions that actually support the customers, instead of placing the middleman role on our shoulders. It's despicable how you've expected this of us with no pay raises (in fact, pay decreases). This company is on an all out sprint” (literally a phrase they use here) to get public and they are willing to exploit their employees to do so. Hopefully, Ryan Anderson recognizes his hubris and this company decides to make some changes that take it in the right direction. The product is fantastic and the people making and supporting the product are wonderful. A sad example of how poor leadership can kill motivation, culture, and the work ethic of fantastic employees.

Pros

Great co-workers. That's about it.

Cons

2023 was a record breaking sales year for the company. How tmdo they reward their employees? They cut their commissions down. No change in quota. So "do the same job with the same goals, but we will pay you less, even though we made record profits." Slave driving with sales. It's all about "what have you done for me today" mentality. They come out with new products and features, yet don't train on them.
