Pros

I've lost too much of my life's time and energy doing work for this company to bother writing much here. If you're the kind of person who loves to just grind all day at your job, you'll probably do really well here. There you go, there's your pro.

Cons

I spent a lot of time writing a whole novel about everything that blows here. I then decided making something short would be better, as it would allow me to drive home a singular point with extreme emphasis. The leadership here does not care about you. My relationship with Filevine didn't end well. Honestly, they had good reason to let me go, but it shouldn't have been a hateful experience. When I was let go it wasn't "Hey this isn't working out anymore, good luck with things." It was a middle finger, and they made sure I knew it was a middle finger.

Pros

Some of the best coworkers I've had.

Cons

Leadership is bananas. I wish I could share some stories here, but it's risky because there will be a witch hunt to discover who writes the poor reviews. Why would anyone tell you they wrote the 1 star review??

Pros

Everyone works so hard and is so passionate about the product. It's got a flexible and youthful feel to the company. You can work from home if you need to every so often. Everyone (almost) is willing to help each other. I really appreciated the company's approach to the Covid19 situation. They have had most people work from home and have been flexible with our schedules since many have kids to look after during this difficult period. They also made it a point to try and not lay anyone off because of COVID19. The company feels human (most of the time). The benefits have gotten better. Also very well paid. There's constant opportunities for growth. It's also a great industry to be in nowadays.

Cons

It's still a young company, so it often feels like the Wild West. Management is for the most part okay, but I had an inexperienced and overworked Team Lead at first who didn't have the time to understand my work load. They encouraged people to ask for help, but when I did, I got ultimatums instead. It's gotten a bit better since and they're trying to hire more people since everyone is overburdened. They "discourage" people from working overtime and on the weekends for the most part, but woe to people who can't get their work done during an expected timeframe even if they do work overtime. Also it seems like the only people who move up are the ones who do work overtime and on weekends. And then if you do move up, it seems like you have to work even more so I'm not sure if I even want to. It's a little two-faced and frustrating. It's also discouraging to see people getting laid-off for "not being good fits" every couple of weeks (and a lot of those people were scouted and seemed to be super hard workers to begin with). Makes you wonder if you'll be next. Benefits are good. Just missing the 401k matching. I also was told when I was hired that I could work in whatever office I wanted (I chose Provo since I live down south), but now they're making the whole department move up to the Sugarhouse office when this covid stuff is over. They said we might be able to work 2 days from home a week, but even with that, it will still be over 6 hours on the road a week. Not excited. Doesn't feel like management is open to new ways of doing things either. Takes much arguing/begging to get anywhere.
