Pros

Good pay and benefits, had opportunity to work with and learn from extremely talented and professional coworkers, valuable experience gained.

Cons

FireEye has somehow managed to combine the disorder and chaos of a startup with the monolithic inflexibility of a large corporation. This is the most heavily siloed company I have ever seen. There are massive logistical problems that never get resolved because separate departments are incapable of collaborating effectively. This may be related to an increasingly toxic management culture that heavily prioritizes immediate numbers over practical long-term strategy. Managers frequently tout career mobility while simultaneously working to obstruct employees from advancing outside of their departments. The workload constantly increases year after year as more products and higher expectations are added, problems that make the work needlessly complicated and difficult never get addressed, and employees are increasingly treated as disposable. FireEye's time has come and gone, and there are much better opportunities at other cybersecurity companies.

Pros

Security Industry still has some respect for FireEye's Brand. The respect was build from the glory days, 2012-2014 Great Medical Benefit

Cons

No job security, constant changes in senior management without a solid direction. Seems like they are still trying to figure out what they want to do. You can only pray that they make a good decision. No 401K matching, No Bonus pay,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We've significantly evolved since the 2012-2014 time frame and, as a result of these changes, we are well-positioned to remain the leader in the security space. We believe that technology alone is not enough, and provide value to our customers through our unique innovation cycle that no other security company can match - our experts are learning on the front lines, and we get to use their insights to build the best products. By doing the right thing for our customers and maintaining our employee base that believes in a customer-first approach, we will continue to make the right decisions as a company.
