Pros

Exposure to ALL aspects of banking - so you can clearly gauge that every department offers NO opportunity, NO development for growth, NO ideal compensation, and NO PERSONALITY.

Cons

The entire company is ran on OLD - OUTDATED metrics, from a board of elders clearly operating from the 1950's from things like a manditory dress code, to compensation that barely meets US Averages. There is no growth or opportunity in the banking industry due to the rapid decline and need for banking services. Expect low pay, long days, comprised of dry interactions - if any customer interactions. Do yourself a favor and chose a better career path

Pros

If you wanna get by in life and not recognized while waiting to retire. Go for it

Cons

Impossible systems Their branches are truly a call center with a teller line . Power to certain favorite people with no oversight Underutilizing their resources If your opinionated, then your outcasted HR truly runs the company and not Sales and Executive leadership, so revenue is NOT priority !!!! No true banker, since almost every employee has another job to follow their dream and look at this job as a paycheck. So true bankers suffocate.

Pros

Customers are great. This is bank that cares about keeping a relationship with its customers Extensive training program big plus.

Cons

Pressure to up-sell and get new business is high. This causes tension between co-workers resulting in a dog eat dog day. Always moving around staff just when they get accustomed to current branch
