First Bank has a ton of great momentum and is making progress in every aspect of community banking. They are a true family and take a personal approach to relationships with their clients. They care in a way big banks just can't/won't.

Cons

Like all community banks, they face a heavy regulatory burden. This can negatively impact resources.

paid holidays, one week vacation for part -timers,decent work - life balance, good amount of training, advancement opportunities, family owned

Cons

poor pay, tiny raises, poor communication between departments, you always feel like you might be next on the chopping block so the company can make a few extra bucks

Small family owned company, you will wear a lot of hats at this company just given the size of the branches (probably 5 employees on average.) Great place to start and learn, although growth opportunities may be hard just because (again) the size and lack of openings.

Cons

Traffic is normally slow, but when it's fast, it can be a nightmare, especially when two people have to perform something in dual.
