Pros

Relationship with management is open door and comfortable. People work as teams. Management demonstrates that they care about you. Medical benefits are good. I even like my pay.

Cons

Not always able to grow in my field. Not many oppotunities. I've tried suggesting different areas I'd like to get experience, but I tend to get cornered into what I have been doing since I got this job. But I really can't complain becuase they do try to get me what I ask for, even when it doesn't materialise.

Pros

Work life balance is great. Good mentoring, compensation was fair. I also had great people to work with. Not overly competitive.

Cons

The model to advance up the chain was not all that advanced. If you were comfortable staying in one place that was great....if not, you struggled.

A comfortable culture among long time employees. Market leader in banking.

Cons

Wealth management is a step-child in the corporate family even though it is profitable. Antiquated technology. Too many turf battles over prospective clients and who gets credit. Too many people in the food chain want to get paid for referrals when they did no work and it has been allowed to occur for so long they get mad when you say "no".
