Manager feeds you from time to time. Celebrate employees birthdays

I gave been a teller for 7 years. I know the ins and out of running the entire office. I have seen the new office managers come and go and has never gotten the opportunity to be one. When Im away on vacation they call me when something happen. If I'm off I go in if something is needed. They look over all the Extra I do for this company. Hourly rate sucks. Took 6 years to get a $1 raise. They expect MORE out of you and give you less.

Pros

Close to my house, some cool people to work with in my branches. That's about it. At least you're guaranteed Sunday's off

Cons

Won't allow employees to go over 38 hours and you're made to feel guilty if you go over. Upper management is so disconnected from what actually goes on in the branch. Company as a whole can't keep employees and doesn't appreciate employees. Company sends bogus "gifts" that no one asked for yet can't seem to afford to pay us more. So understaffed in all departments yet higher ups keep pulling people from jobs to assist in other jobs when there aren't enough people to go around. Teller work is so repetitive and vacations seem impossible to take unless you're a manager in which every manager can be out at the same time without an issue

They pay you sometimes but not always.

Cons

Upper management is trash and will throw you under the bus. Specifically the CFO.
