      Work can be inconsistent depending on what team you are on Mini-mass layoffs do happen every couple years Teams get rearranged often Promotions are inconsistent.

      There aren't many employers who can honestly say they are positively changing the world, but in leading the world's sustainable energy future, First Solar can actually make this claim. It's pretty fulfilling work for a company for which you believe in the mission and can see how your efforts make a meaningful impact on a global scale. First Solar is an extremely fast-paced, driven and results oriented company where growth opportunities abound and where you can learn and develop new skills quickly if you are self-directed.

      Cons

      Can be siloed in thinking between functions / departments at times. THe pace and rigor of the work can be very aggressive and work life balance a challenge.
