Pros

Good coworkers, positive attitudes. Everyone is played back for the most part as long as you do you part and get your job done.

Cons

Upper management/ corporate always changing, doesn’t seem to know what they are doing. Says they don’t have money for anything than always hiring new directors but can’t hire new support staff?

Pros

Benefits are great. (PTO, VTO, 401k, Healthcare options don't seem terrible, and if you're lucky enough a pension.) Compensation seems to be fair, from what I for myself, friends and family. Networking and the opportunity of getting to know people has been an awesome experience. Overall I'd say managers and supervisors have been absolutely amazing. Heard the food in the Café is pretty good.

Cons

The interview process...awful, just awful. We were told we'll be doing "less with less" yet here we are years later still doing even more with less. Not having the option or opportunity to at least have a hybrid schedule. Lack of trust with upper management. Lack of transparency, yet it's preached that they are. Things are poorly communicated and implemented.

Not what it used to be.

Pros

Good pay and benefits along with a defined pension.

Cons

The new executive leadership ruined this once great company. Employees used to be listened to for feedback and were valued as individuals. Now, executive leadership asks for feedback and doesn't act on it and every employee is just a number. Recent cultural surveys were a joke. The 'virtuous cycle' is essentially a downward spiral. Random layoffs are the new norm. One can question the CEOs loyalty considering he came from Blackstone, which owns 49.9% of FirstEnergy Transmission. Every decision benefits the executive leadership team and shareholders; not customers or lower level employees.
