Pros

Good for people who don't want to excel/ those who want to show up at 7:30 and leave by 4:00 on the dot. Decent compensation.

Cons

Total disregard for employees wanting to expand/ explore other career opportunities. Incompentent management at all level. Does not listen to employees. Yearly reviews are totally subjective. Not willing to try new methods, even if they could result in huge savings for the company. FE is a typical public utility. Employees do not and are not encouraged to put in any additional work(parking lot is dead within 5 minutes of closing). Very slow and extremely resistant to change.

The company president has publicly conveyed a message that employees who are unhappy should simply leave, which reflects a concerning lack of interest in employee feedback and engagement. Employee satisfaction, work-life balance, and overall morale have noticeably declined over time. While financial performance appears strong, leadership seems more focused on satisfying investors and the board than addressing workplace culture and employee well-being.
