Competitive pay and benefits, but ineffective leadership struggles

Pros

Offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that compares favorably with other companies in the single-family rental (SFR) industry.

Cons

The executive leadership team in Atlanta appears to have a limited understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by local offices. As a result, company-wide initiatives and rollouts are often implemented without sufficient operational insight or planning, creating unnecessary disruption and confusion across the organization. In my 15 years of experience in property management, this has been the least effective senior leadership team I have worked under. There is also a perception that advancement and recognition are influenced more by personal relationships with leadership than by performance or merit. A stronger focus on transparency, operational expertise, and meaningful collaboration with local teams would help improve employee confidence and organizational effectiveness.

Decent pay

Pros

Base pay was good, benefits were great

Cons

They had not enacted any bonuses before I left and was expected to work 15-17 hour days for the pay. Upper management said the role was “exempt”. Some other things going on related to lay offs and FMLA that weren’t ok.
