Pros

FirstServices is the basic concept of good work and stable work, from company guidelines, the values they profess in their guidelines to the high-end, quality image they have managed to build over time

Cons

In my opinion, every big, small or medium-sized company has things to improve, but from my vision and position, I do not get to observe any counterparts :)

Pros

There are ample opportunities for growth with FirstService Residential. Career paths are clearly defined. The newly named FirstService Illinois President Brian Butler is steeped in integrity and has an exciting vision for the region that will result in a new way of viewing service to our clients and each other thus creating more success. If you are looking for a rewarding career that allows you to utilize a variety of skills and/or learn new skill sets, I recommend FirstService Residential to jump start a new career or invigorate a stagnant career in property management.

Cons

Like all organizations, training and development is ongoing. While this does not apply to all staff, the accounting department in my more than a decade experience lacks accountability and a true connection to the meaning of client services. I have no doubt under the new leadership this will be resolved through training and development that includes holding employees accountable.
