Pros

it is part of an International company yet has a local feel. They encourage growth and give leadership learning opportunities. They recognize employees through a peer to peer nomination process. New President is a lot more personable than the previous President. Being that it is an International company relocating is an option.

Cons

The Corporate Office and on-site offices feel disconnected. Although it has a local feel, it is very much Big Company Corporate. If they lose a property, so could you lose your job.

Pros

Subsidized certifications through CAI, opportunities to earn sales licensing, in-house hiring for multiple positions, growth and advancement opportunities commensurate with experience, knowledge, tenacity, and drive. Exposure to multiple types of buildings across a vast spectrum of economic echelons. highrise, midrise, mixed use, and white glove properties make up a large portfolio composed primarily of condominiums and cooperatives. Excellent working environment with a heavy focus on the companies core values and organizational culture. Leaders, are well educated, experienced, congenial, and results-oriented. Many are mentors and encourage growth, critical thinking, and engagement of all employees. Extremely transparent business model with a broad range of products and services. Effective and considerate communication between HR and all employees. Resources available to all employees to help them grow and evolve. Division leaders are nothing short of experts in the industry. Multiple departments create a plethora of resources to management teams and clients, resulting in management teams' ability to provide services other companies simply cannot provide. The compliance department is unrivaled. The IT department. State of the art learning center, technology, and resources provide for a well informed and competent staff. The residents and staff have access to their portals online, which saves a great deal of time on administrative inquiries. The 24 hour customer care line accepts calls and answers inquiry reducing call volume to busy management teams. Unit owners have access to their accounts online. Fun events that help bring everyone together. Regular recognition of employees publicly and with marginal non-material monetary compensation, such as gift cards. Excellent hours bank holidays off. Summer hours. 401K and health benefits are not the best, but better than some. Pre-tax commuter benefits are available to employees. Leaders acknowledge employee feed back and openly uses the feed back to implement productive change and progress.

Cons

Extremely high turn-over, related to uncompetitive pay and sub-par communication and relationship development between departments and between division leaders and team constituents. Some employees report they are expected to take on more responsibility without additional pay. Communications between departments need to improve. Must use your own cell phone. Commuter benefits are limited to metrocards. Monetary compensation would be a better alternative.
