Pros

Various sites Hours as much as you can work

Cons

Discrepancies in pay and nothing done about it No communication within the company People responsible for payroll are unaware of basic math Insist on email communication but no response on emails Ignore you when you have a payroll problem

Pros

Appearance looks professional ,but that is all. Company is just fluff no substance.

Cons

Top heavy management wise, do not give raises, worked for company never got a performance review till it was requested by the council. They have far too many levels of protocol, makes doing your job impossible no continuity.

Pros

FirstService Corp. is a smart company but FirstService Residential Ontario is no reflection of that.

Cons

Over the years, I have seen the company decline into its' current state. The company values are prominent, but such a joke - everything is for show and employees are not valued - you can smell the fakeness and misery in the air at head office. The moral is at an all-time low and turnover high. Games, gossip and politics take place on a regular basis. Its well known that FirstService Residential Ontario is unorganized, often cleaning/security employees don't get paid on time and don't receive schedules or proper training so it causes turnover at the properties and extra pressure on the Manages. There are buildings that have had no Property Manager for months, where APMs are required to act as PM with no extra compensation.
