Pros

Benefits, Travel, Close to Home,

Cons

Joining Fiserv was the worst decision of my career. I was initially promised a clear career trajectory, with regular reassurances from senior leadership that I was on a path to leadership. I had frequent meetings with the VP, who was well aware of the challenges I was facing and continuously reassured me that my efforts and leadership potential would be rewarded. However, this promise never materialized. The reality was that my immediate supervisor lacked the ability to lead and repeatedly undermined me. Instead of fostering my growth, he continually stepped over me, blocking my advancement and refusing to acknowledge my contributions. Despite my efforts to address these issues, my concerns were either dismissed or ignored. When I finally reported the bullying and toxic behavior, I was met with even more hostility from senior employees. It became clear that the company had no intention of addressing the situation, and instead, I was bullied out of the organization. The most disheartening part was when I filed an official complaint. The VP, who had previously been supportive, completely stepped back from the situation. Rather than receiving the guidance and support I was promised, I was abandoned, and the pressure only intensified. In the end, I was pushed out of the company by a culture that protected tenure and silenced those who spoke up. Fiserv is a company with a lot of potential, but the internal politics, bullying, and lack of accountability create a toxic environment, especially for those seeking to advance their careers. If you're considering joining Fiserv, be very cautious, particularly if you're expecting genuine support for career growth. My experience was a broken promise from day one, and the lack of leadership and integrity made it impossible to succeed.

Pros

The breakfast and lunch staff My associates who’ve worked w Fiserv over 4 years

Cons

Unnecessary badging in and out of the building. Spam on our computers Frank (CEO) is a complete moron, incompetent and and lives in his own world & has ruined the culture of Fiserv Jeff Yabuki please come back and show him what real leadership looks like! Worked almost 3 years from home had to come back after they lifted the vax mandate Open to working from home 2-3 days a week and coming into the office, but Frank mentioned we need to be more client focused so has currently forced employees to come in 4 days a week and created a stressful & chaotic environment. I have hope this will change when Frank sees we don’t particularly care for him! The reason why our stocks are doing good is because of the dedicated workers who’ve worked for Fiserv for many years. not because Frank is doing something great w the company. Please read the reviews from First Data… disappointing to say the least.

Disappointing change in culture

Pros

Consistent growth, key industry, overall good opportunities to work on relevant technologies. Benefits, pay, and employee programs are good for a large company. Real efforts to diversify leadership.

Cons

Original Fiserv culture was pretty good, and it generally felt like employees were valued, though annual layoffs to cut cost were disheartening. New culture feels like employees are simply line items in the expenses, or boxes on an org chart. Draconian policies ending hybrid work schedules, purging remote employees, and hiring location restrictions in NJ show a huge disconnect with reality. HR communications tries to put a good spin on the decisions, but it will cripple productivity and has driven morale even lower.
