Pros

Work from Home Policy Nice work facility (Alpharetta location) Great PTO

Cons

Benefits are high Low Pay (Tip: PLEASE negotiate during the hiring process as annual increases are a joke) Internal Salary Cap for promotions (advised up to 7% regardless of title, etc...but YMMV) Equal pay and favoritism

Pros

If you like a good old boy's club atmosphere, you will fit right in.

Cons

- no raise worth the paper it's written on for years of service. - benefits decrease year over year - invasive questions from heath management group and from Fiserv regarding your life (you have to prove you don't smoke and prove that the people on your insurance are your children/spouse) - don't go to HR and claim your boss is not doing right -- you will get laid off - for me it was via phone call and NOT in person - expect the worst treatment if you have experiences with other companies that have worked but don't follow Fiserv's policies. You are viewed as a nail sticking up. -- favoritism, favoritism, favoritism -- our group demands 4 yr college degrees for Sr and leads but have a lead who just barely got his AA -- losing work force to off-shoring quickly -- no training for a technical position - sure road to obsolete knowledge quickly -- on call -- out of date, old soon to be discarded software technology

Pros

Good location, nice campus atmosphere Cafeteria program - started out ok, went downhill, then got much better after the company raised the subsidy it paid to the vendor. $3.00/day for breakfast and lunch is a good deal

Cons

Rampant favoritism, periodic layoffs, bosses that were promoted simply because they did a good job somewhere else even though they have no experience in their new position Below average pay, awful benefits, and persistent micromanagement Non-existent communication between higher-ups and lower-level direct reports Lack of communication between departments that may result in more than one group working on the same issue Employees are stressed out, have low morale, and considerable anxiety wondering if they will be the next to be laid off. No raises for two years and when they were reinstituted, limited to no more that 3% Quarterly bonuses are a joke... what used to be as much as 7% (annualized) are now limited to no more the 3% Contant reshuffling of divisions, departments has lead to confusion among employees and has signifcantly hindered productivity Work/Home Life balance...forget about it. The only thing that matters at Fiserv is the bottom line...
