Annual Reviews are Pathetic

Pros

Working from home, PTO benefits, and employee stock plan.

Cons

Uninspiring management. Annual merit increases are pathetic. In my area, the salary pool was only increased by 1%. In other areas of the company, merit increases are being given out as restricted stock with a horrible 2-year vesting period. Meanwhile, Fiserv is receiving large tax breaks and making substantial profits. It makes it hard to believe that Fiserv is really concerned about the financial well-being of their employees.

Pros

Excellent benefits, flexible hours, remote from home, many training sessions available on a variety of topics.

Cons

Poor management, poor planning, lack of creativity in how to best utilize employees' talent, too many meetings that accomplish nothing.

Pros

Fiserv Pays on time every time.

Cons

This place is full of rats, brown nosers and a-holes every which way you look. Worked there for close to one year and I learned one thing - relationships is what keeps you around this place. You could be a deadbeat but if you know how to suck up to bosses, which are may too many, and peers, you are not going to loose your job. All you got to do is just show up every day or dial in from home, be "visible". This is also one of my ex bosses told me too, that thats all he does and it has kept him around for years and many more to come. He just bull shits day in and day out, and practically contributes zero % of anything useful. If you are smart and passionate about change and improvements and quality work life, fogget bout it, do yourself a favor, do not accept position here if you are getting one. This place reallly suck bad.
