One such action involves claw-back the modest 2% bonuses earned from the previous year's work due to leaving halfway through the year. They did not prorate this claw-back. Though layoffs are essential for streamlining operations and occur biannually a Fiserv, a recent reduction of a significant 20% of the workforce was implemented to curb costs. This decision coincided with a lavish all expenses paid executive retreat. This juxtaposition underscores the company's disregard for its workforce. The absence of visionary leadership at the helm, coupled with a failure to grasp contemporary work dynamics, reflects a persistent adherence to outdated business practices rooted in the 1990s, encompassing technology, organizational culture, and environmental approaches.
