I accepted a job offer from Fiserv and I moved across multiple states and had my job offer paused two days before my start date with the company. I passed the background check, pre hire, and signed the employment country with a confirmed start date. I moved across the country to start with this company and I received a call stating that my offer was rescinded based on not meetings business needs even though the background check, pre hire and employment contract was clear and signed. This is extremely unacceptable and whoever reads this must know that if you decided to come work for Fiserv you should not find housing or relocate until many weeks into the role. (if you decide to work for them at all) I am strongly against writing negative reviews, but it was a dream of mine to work for such a company and start a career in financial technology but now I am left financially compromised with just a "thank you" and a "sorry" and was personally blamed for relocating to a new location without any accountability on the company's end. No relocation costs or any additional support has been provided for me from this company. Please avoid at all costs as I would not like to work for a company who engages in such unethical practices and single handedly destroys lives. This is an epitome of American corporatism and would never occur in Europe as such practices would not only be seen as unethical but illegal. I had two interviews with the company throughout the summer, went to multiple hiring events, and was never given the benefit of a doubt to prove myself to this company despite graduating from a prestigious university with top honors and being extremely qualified for the role. Not only is this a bad look on the company, but this will affect current and future employees who have not only helped me with the hiring process, but expected me to find success in this position. This has single handedly destroyed my career as this will raise red flags with any future employers. I have worked so hard to get to this point as this process has taken many months and it has all been for nothing.
