Pros

I see none at this company. One man micromanages 40k employees and it shows.

Cons

The return to office has killed moral and the culture is no one of fear as everyone is afraid for their job. If you’re reading this and thinking of joining the company, keep looking.

Pros

It's a paycheck. Most of the workers were cool.

Cons

Management was abusive and dishonest. They pay Omaha salaries and don't adjust if you live where it's more expensive. I finally was convinced by management to be a direct hire after contracting. My salary was cut in half, but I was told by my boss I would have job stability. Four months later she got word I said she was a micromanager with control issues and got fired without warning. It was vindictive and unprofessional, but that's how Fiserv works. They got rid of wfh privileges and demanded people go to the nearest office or move closer. Once people came to the office, the culture hot more toxic and I felt like an endentured servant, constantly waiting for my control freak boss to tell me another thing I did wrong after the fact. No positive feedback. If you take time off from unlimited time off you're threatened with being fired. I've never seen an environment change from being positive to toxic as quickly as this place. This is not the same place I started working at in 2022, not by a longshot. I spent 2 hours a day doing my timecard, justifying my hours, and creating a status report. In addition, management talks behind everyone's back and gossips about employees. It's one of the most abusive places I've ever worked. They don't have training either, just toss you into the deep end. Lots of turnover, especially developers. They pay the least I've ever known in tech and lie that there's job stability to convince them to take the huge paycut. Once you're a direct hire, the abuse begins. They hire just to fire. Indians are respected more than American-born citizens. They're replacing all American born people with Indians because they sell out and take the abuse when Amercan born people quit or try and fix the toxic environment. Diversity. There's white people or Indians and that's pretty much it. They don't even give black people a chance. All management is white.

Pros

Great co-workers (like family) unfortunately sharing life in a difficult working environment. Great counter and retention bonus offer when I tendered my resignation, but just a little too late and it wasn’t only about the money.

Cons

80%+ of management, especially at the C levels. Fiserv’s long lived “People Make a Difference” motto died a few years ago! No employee appreciation. Merit increases delayed months and smaller, yet the execs $ continue to be timely and abundant.
